What types of products do you offer?

At Grain, we specialize in handmade hardwood smoking kits designed to enhance your culinary and cocktail experiences. Our curated selection includes unique items like the Individual Cocktail Smoker Kit and the Cheese and Snack Smoker Kit, all crafted with exceptional quality and care.

How do I use the smoking kits?

For cocktail smokers...

1. Pour a generous portion of your favorite beverage into a glass. Make sure to leave at least an inch of space in the top of the glass.
2. Place the smoker on top of the glass.
3. Fill the smoker basket about halfway with the wood chips of your choosing.
4. Using the torch on medium, slowly toast the chips until they begin to smolder. (Adjust torch strength if needed.) The force from the flame of the torch will push smoke into the glass.
   
5. Allow the smoke to settle and “rest” on your drink for a minimum of 30 seconds.
6. Remove the smoker top and enjoy the smoky hues now present in your favorite drink!  Repeat as Necessary!

For snack smokers...

1. Place your snack of choice into the jar (will fit any size widemouth mason jar). Leave enough space for smoke to move between snacks.
2. Place the smoker on top of the jar and twist the lid ring down.
3. Fill the smoker basket about halfway with the wood chips of your choosing.
4. Using the torch on medium, slowly toast the chips until they begin to smolder. (Adjust torch strength if needed.) The force from the flame of the torch will push smoke into the glass.
5. Allow the smoke to settle and “rest” on your jar for a minimum of 2 minutes. The longer the smoke sits the more flavor infused!
6. Remove the smoker top and enjoy the smoky flavor that is now present in your favorite snacks!

What materials are used in your smoking kits?

We pride ourselves on using high-quality, handmade components in our smoking kits. All of the wood for the smokers is sourced local to us in Washington state. (Other than exotic woods that do not grow here.) Our wood chips are created in house to ensure purity and exceptional flavor, allowing you to elevate your culinary creations with confidence.

What is your return policy?

We have a 30-day return policy. If you need to return an item, it must be in its original condition, unused, and in its original packaging. Please contact us at tony@goodsbygrain.com to initiate the return process.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping times can vary based on your location. Generally, orders are processed quickly. If you have specific questions about your order's shipping status, feel free to reach out to us!

Can I exchange an item?

Yes! The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original item and make a new purchase once the return is accepted. Please follow our return process to ensure everything goes smoothly.

What should I do if my item arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please inspect it immediately and contact us at tony@goodsbygrain.com. We’ll work with you to evaluate the issue and make it right.

Do you offer gift cards?

Unfortunately, we do not offer gift cards at this time. However, we have a variety of smoking kits that make great gifts for culinary enthusiasts!
